To help the people you seek to serve, you have to earn their permission.
It’s not something that can be bought or handed out. You have to earn it.
You earn it by constantly showing up and being generous. Giving without the expectation of getting. Sharing something of value again and again. Saying, ‘I made this for you, I think you’ll like it.’
It’s not a trick. You’re not trying to fool anybody. You’re building trust. Helping the people you seek to serve take that first step.
When you lead with generosity, others follow.
We’re not building a brand for everyone, but we’re building it for someone.
