The Cardwell is located in the Muskoka's on the shore of Lake Joseph. Named after the old township Cardwell, the restaurant aims to deliver an authentic fine dining experience for its patrons.
This project required designing all elements from the ground up for this restaurant. The brief required a design the depicted a rustic fine dining experience. The logo, menu, website and everything else were thoughtfully crafted to elevate the rustic fine dining experience for the restaurant patrons.
The logo was rendered by pulling typography from hand-drawn 1800's maps of the Muskoka region.
Additional elements were discovered through research and brought into the design to highlight the history of the region.
