Running in Circles

It's a familiar scene.

You're trying to make your brand stand out, but it's tough. It feels like you're guessing. Following others doesn't help much either. You keep changing your brand, but the path forward is still unclear.

Here's the thing.

Your brand's look and message—it comes from your business' purpose.

Instead of following others, answer the basic questions first:

  • Why am I here?
  • What do I do?
  • Who do I do it for?
  • What makes me unique?
  • And, why should people care?

We often skip the questions. We're focused on our goals, and anything else feels like a waste of time. Yet when we do that, we end up running in circles with no direction—wasting more time than we would have otherwise.

By answering the basics first, everything changes. We know exactly where to go. We know how our brand should look and what it should say. The path forward becomes clear and we get where we're going a whole lot faster.
